Who we are

Oursharedmoments, a small business based in Egypt. Contact us on WhatsApp at ⁦+20 112 756 9014⁩. That's also where privacy requests go.

What we collect

From your WhatsApp chat with us: your name and number as WhatsApp shows them, and the messages you send.

The details for your site: your names, date, time and venue, your story, the programme, FAQs, the RSVP number you choose, and the photos you send.

Payment: the InstaPay screenshot you send and the amount you paid. We never see your bank details.

If you came through a friend's link: which referral code was used.

On our website: anonymous visit counts and which buttons are clicked (Vercel Web Analytics). No cookies and nothing that identifies you.

Why we use it

To design, publish and host your wedding website, and to answer you.

To check payments, handle refunds and keep basic accounts.

To pay referral rewards, and to prevent fraud.

We do not sell your data, and we don't use your photos or story in our marketing without asking you first.

Your site is public

Anyone with your site's link can see it, including the names, dates, venue and photos you chose to put on it. Only share what you're happy for your guests to see.

Who helps us

We use a few service providers, and some of them process data outside Egypt:

• Meta (WhatsApp Business), to receive and send messages.

• Anthropic (Claude AI), to understand your messages and draft your site.

• Amazon Web Services (servers, database and photo storage, in the EU).

• Vercel, to serve the websites and count visits anonymously.

• Google Maps, for the venue map and directions on sites.

Each one handles data only to provide its service to us, under its own business terms.

How long we keep it

If you never order: your chat, details and photos are deleted 30 days after your last message.

After your site is delivered: we keep the full chat for 12 months, then only the site details.

Full-size originals of your photos: until a year after your wedding. The optimised photos your site shows stay as long as your site is online.

Payment screenshots: 18 months.

Basic order records (order number, date, amount) are kept for accounting, without your name or number once you've asked us to delete your data.

Your rights

You can ask what we hold about you, ask us to correct it, or ask us to delete it.

To delete your data, send "delete my data" (or «امسح بياناتي») in our WhatsApp chat. You choose whether your site comes down too or stays online. Deletion is permanent.

You can also withdraw consent at any time; we'll stop processing your data, except what we must keep by law.

Security

Data is encrypted in transit and stored with access limited to the systems that need it. Payment screenshots and original photos are private, and are never published on your site.

Changes

We'll post any changes here and update the date below. If a change is significant, we'll tell you in the chat.
